Our floating covers, geotextiles and geomembranes
FLOATING POND COVER PRODUCTS
AWTT floating pond cover systems are world leading systems for water, wastewater, and other cover applications. In clean and drinking water reservoirs floating covers protect the water from evaporation, algae, contamination and the loss of water treatment chemicals (such as chlorine). In waste water applications floating covers prevent odors, dissuade wildlife from accessing the pond, insulate and prevent the buildup of algae.
A floating pond cover often consists of a flexible geomembrane fixed atop a liners which provides the shade and windproofing of the pond. The liquid is then introduced between the two membranes, so that the cover floats on the surface of the liquid. AWTT floating covers are different and present several advantages compared to typical geomembranes covers. Our floating covers are composed of thousands of single, similar and symmetrical elements that automatically form a barrier on top of small and very large liquid bodies. Small openings in between those elements allow for water to flow into the reservoir. Contrary to geomembrane, rainwater will not build up on top of the cover and pumps are not required.
The level of the surface will vary depending on filling height of the covered liquid. Similarly to geomembrane, remaining elements which are located on the edge of the containment basin will float in and out of the liquid to ensure uniform coverage.

We invite you to engage with us regarding your unique challenge, and we pledge to collaborate with you to develop a bespoke solution. Our expertise encompasses the design of covers for a diverse range of ponds, lagoons, and tanks, irrespective of their geometry, as well as environmental factors such as wind conditions, precipitation, snow, and ice. Our commitment to working in close partnership with our clients enables us to achieve successful implementations. By combining our knowledge and experience with your specific needs, we tailor solutions that precisely meet your requirements.

TRADITIONAL MODULAR FLOATING COVERS
FRAC PIT FLOATING COVERS

INSULATED FLOATING COVERS
ABOVE GROUND STORAGE TANKS COVERS
Our Above Ground Storage Tank (AST) covers are engineered for optimal stability in high winds combined with the most durable reinforced shell material to ensure longevity and re usability across multiple tanks. They are fully compatible with any tank shape and allow for piping and AST system appurtenances that protrude into the tank’s interior perimeter as contained water levels rise and fall. Unlike solid cover, there are no risk or sagging on field configuration required. We also offer a lightweight insulated covers, also fully compatible with any type configuration, and is 100% reusable over numerous installations (unlike membrane covers).

CLARIFIER FLOATING COVERS
AWTT offers different type of modular floating cover that economically block sunlight, prevent algae, stop evaporation, provide insulation and can be configured to help resist strong winds. The buoyancy of bllasted floating cover system eliminates the need for ancillary floats required by typical cover membrane types, saving installation time and money. No rods, no reels, no special hardware in general is required to secure those cover. There is also no maintenance necessary over the life of our floating cover systems.
Introducing AWTT floating baffles and their applications
Floating baffles are innovative flow control systems designed to enhance the efficiency and performance of water and wastewater treatment processes. These structures are versatile, durable, and cost-effective, making them a popular choice in municipal, industrial, and environmental applications. Floating baffles function by directing the flow of water or wastewater through predetermined paths, optimizing treatment exposure and reducing inefficiencies like short-circuiting. By extending the hydraulic retention time (HRT) and improving flow patterns, floating baffles play a vital role in improving water quality and meeting regulatory standards.
Typically constructed from high-strength, UV-resistant materials such as geomembranes, floating baffles are engineered for durability and adaptability. They are anchored securely within lagoons, tanks, or ponds, where they create barriers that guide water through serpentine or vertical turnover paths. The strategic design of these baffles ensures uniform distribution of influent, minimizes dead zones, and prevents untreated water from bypassing critical treatment zones.
Floating baffles are available in various configurations, tailored to suit different applications and environments. From reducing Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Total Suspended Solids (TSS) in wastewater treatment to managing stormwater runoff and enhancing industrial process water treatment, floating baffles are a versatile solution. Manufacturers offer customizable designs with options for specific flow patterns, materials, and dimensions to meet the unique needs of each facility.
Leading products in the floating baffles market include systems designed for municipal wastewater treatment plants, industrial lagoons, and environmental water management. These solutions are not only effective in improving treatment efficiency but also provide a sustainable and economical approach to water management. With ease of installation, minimal maintenance requirements, and long service life, floating baffles are an indispensable component of modern water treatment strategies.
