The Hexprotect® Slim floating cover system delivers up to 99% surface coverage, forming a remarkably effective thermal insulation barrier. This barrier leverages both the air encapsulated within each tile and the naturally low heat conductivity of plastic. Although the small air pockets between tiles are not fully sealed, they still contribute to the overall insulation, significantly reducing heat loss and minimizing light penetration. As a result, liquid loss through evaporation is reduced, and odor issues are controlled more efficiently.

Unlike traditional covers, the Hexprotect® Slim hexagonal floating cover does not hinder static, moving, or dipping equipment. The individual tiles are easily displaced and naturally reassemble to accommodate changes in the basin or clarifier configuration.
